This week for our provocations the children were making a house of sticks for the 3 little pigs. There were lots of pieces of wood and the children thought about how they were going to create a living space for one of the pigs. There was lots of discussion and consultations about what to do. They came up with a teepee style house. They used pieces of wood, making a triangular shape and lots of tape. As they went along they added pieces of wood and kept on taping it together. They figured out that someone needed to be able to sit inside-they all needed a turn at this stage obviously! Finally they found lots of material to decorate it with. It looked fabulous. Let’s see how long it lasts. Tomorrow we will use a hairdryer to blow the house down just like the Big Bad Wolf!
