This week we are solving some maths challenges as it’s Maths Week. Yesterday we worked on pentominoes. A pentomino is made up of five equal squares joined together along a whole straight edge. Each pentomino was then fitted together to make one large oblong.
Nobody solved the problem yesterday so I sent it home for the children to have extra time to solve it. I was so impressed with the perseverance and determination everyone put in yesterday. Only Jenik brought it back finished today! Well done.
Todays question wasn’t as tricky but again only 1 person solved it.

Can you solve it?
