One of the provocations this week is hot and cold science experiments. Mrs D had an egg, a bottle and some matches. She placed the boiled egg on top of the bottle and asked the kids what they thought might happen. Some said the egg would explode or change colour or crack.
Mrs D lit numerous matches and placed them inside the bottle and quickly placed the egg on top. Each time the bottle sucked the egg in a little bit. As nothing was really happening we turned the egg the other way and all of a sudden the egg was sucked it in the bottle.
The screams of the children were hilarious. What joy science experiments bring.
