Thanks to everyone who helped make the Gala such a success. It was
so wonderful to see so many of you there supporting St. Mary’s School and bringing our community together.
Good luck to our students in Kakano who will be heading off to the Mount to play Golf. Have fun and all the best.

Rice Day
Message from Bernie Hall DRS
Each year as a Caritas fundraiser, and to raise awareness of those who survive on a bowl of rice a day,
St Mary’s School will participate in the Rice Day Challenge. Your child will be provided with rice for lunch.
They are to bring a bowl/cup and spoon/fork and a coin donation.
All students are expected to participate. It is a good thing to allow your child to experience what having
limited choices feels like and plain food tastes like. So please, unless your child has specific dietary
requirements do not buy or provide a school lunch on this day.
