Odd or even?

 Today we played a game of odd or evens. Everyone worked in pairs. They had to hold up one hand with some fingers held up. They added their fingers with their partner and then they had to work out if it was odd or even. If they got an even number they got a point. 

Mrs D said she had lots of odd socks at her house. We paired up our fingers and if there was one left over it was odd. We called the even numbers happy because they all have partners and the odd numbers sad as one is always left out on their own.
